Yu-Fang Yang

A Taiwanese cognitive neuroscientist based in Berlin, investigating how social signals shape neural activity, cognition, and behaviour.

ABOUT

Who I Am

I am a cognitive neuroscientist studying how gaze direction and facial cues shape social attention and emotion. My research combines EEG and eye tracking to investigate rapid neural and behavioral dynamics in social interaction, with a strong commitment to reproducibility and open science collaboration.

MY RESEARCH

From diagnostic facial features to social interaction

Understanding Social Cognition

How do we detect and respond to social signals?

From facial expression to gaze, how subtle cues guide social judgments.

Neural Dynamics

How does the brain process dynamic social interactions?

Using Electroencephalography (EEG) and eye tracking to map rapid processes of attention and emotion.

Colorful Abstract Portrait

Open and Reproducible Science

Building collaborative projects that improve transparency in cognitive neuroscience.
